Nederlands: Deze kaart van het Groot-hertogdom van Litouwen is door de uitgever Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) opgedragen aan Radziwill. Dat was zeker niet toevallig. Het waren namelijk de vorsten van Radziwil geweest die het gebied tussen 1584 en 1595 in kaart hadden laten brengen door de kartograaf Matthias Strubicz. In 1613 verscheen van deze kaart een kopie, gegraveerd door Hessel Gerritsz. (ca. 1580-1632) en uitgegeven door Jan Janssonius (1588-1664). Joan Blaeu kopieerde deze kaart en nam haar vanaf in 1648 in zijn atlassen op.; Linksboven een opdracht van Joan Blaeu aan Nicolai Christophor Radziwil.
English: This map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is dedicated by Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) to Radziwiłł. That was not a coincidence. Some of the Radziwils had ordered cartographer Matthias Strubicz to map the area between 1584 en 1595. In 1613 a copy of this map appeared, engraved by Hessel Gerritsz. (c. 1580-1632) and published by Jan Janssonius (1588-1664). Joan Blaeu copied this map and included it in his atlases from 1648 onwards. In the top left there is a dedication from Joan Blaeu to Mikołaj Krzysztof "the Orphan" Radziwiłł.
Lietuvių: Šį Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės žemėlapį Joanas Blaeu (1598-1673) dedikavo Radvilai. Tai nebuvo atsitiktinumas. Kai kurie Radvilai buvo nurodę kartografui Matthias Strubicz sudaryti vietovę nuo 1584 iki 1595 m. 1613 metais pasirodė šio žemėlapio kopija, išgraviruota Hessel Gerritsz (apie 1580-1632) ir išleista Jano Janssonius (1588-1664).
