Italiano: La chiesa-grotta di San Michele a Casalbore (AV). La grotta è stata, probabilmente, primitivo ricovero pastorale e per viandanti poichè a poca distanza dal tratturo, divenuto poi Regio Tratturo, e a poca distanza dalla Via Appia Traianea. In epoca medioevale passava vicino alla grotta la "Via Sacra Langobardorum" che collegava Benevento con Il Santuario Micaelico di Monte Sant'Angelo sul Gargano e la grotta è divenne anche luogo di culto dedicato all'Arcangelo. |
