English: Entrance to Great Douk Pot The entrance is covered for safety and the scaffolding allows potholers to be lowered into the pothole by means of a winch. This is in the large hole in the landscape which also contains the entrance to Great Douk Cave.
Basically, a cave is horizontal but a pothole is vertical. |
