| Description |
English: Hallandsåstunneln under construction. Public exhibition of the western tunnel. The picture was taken inside the tunnel approximately 200 meters from the northern opening, looking south. This part of the tunnel was built using traditional drilling and blasting, and on a section from this point to a few hundred meters south, a solid concrete lining is constructed. It consists of two layers of concrete, separated by a plastic seal to prevent water from leaking into the tunnel. |
