Der Ziegeleisee bildet das geschützte Biotop Naturnaher Teich im ‚Ziegeleipark Böckingen‘ (Biotop-Nr. 168211210148, offizieller Erhebungsbogen); der Erhebungsbogen hebt die „standorttypische[n] Gehölze“ am hier dargestellten Westufer hervor.
English: The Ziegeleisee in the Ziegeleipark in Böckingen, Heilbronn, Germany, view from east in spring. This is an artificial pond, but it has become home to so many plant and animal species that it has been declared a protected biotope.
