Español: En aquella época el régimen penal resolvía que los delitos leves eran castigados con el rollo, y los graves en Juan Fernández. Así la isla se convirtió en la Bastilla de la América Española.
Los presos se transportaban sólo con una camisa, una cotona, un pantalón y un jergón para dormir; al llegar, se les soltaba en la playa como fieras bravías. |
