Summary
DescriptionLimestone Quarry near Chilmark 2 - geograph.org.uk - 906074.jpg
English: Limestone Quarry near Chilmark 2. This is the entrance to the quarry on the western side of the unclassified road that runs between Chilmark and Ham Cross, and is one of two limestone quarries in the area known as Chilmark Ravine 1.5km south of the village of Chilmark, see 906068. The narrow gauge railway line here, which does not appear to be in use, crosses the road behind the camera in the direction of the quarry on the other side.
