English: The tunnel between Lopra and Sumba is called Sumbiartunnilin. It opened officially in 1997. It is 3,240 meter long (10,630 ft). The tunnel has two lanes. To the left is the village Lopra (not visible on this photo). To the right is the old road to Sumba which goes up to the mountains, it goes around Hesturin, where a scenic view is next to the 470 meter high sea cliff Beinisvørð.
