| Description |
English: Steam winch, Chatterley Whitfield Built 1903 by John Warner of Hanley and used at Silverdale until about 1980, removed 1985/6. You can see it has been re-erected but still lacks guarding. I think this may have never been opened to the public. The late George Cooper did some arm-twisting to get three of us in here. |
