DescriptionThe Remains of Phoenix United Mine - geograph.org.uk - 525549.jpg
English: The Remains of Phoenix United Mine This complex of buildings surrounds the Prince of Wales Shaft and is only a small part of this 19th century mine although it is the best preserved. These buildings date from the final phase of mining here when tin was exploited rather than copper. This photo was taken from the old tramway which runs around the eastern side of Stowe's Hill.
