| Description |
English: Disley station facing towards Disley Tunnel taken on 9th January 2024 by Stephen McKay. Disley is a stop on the former London & North Western Railway route between Stockport and Buxton. It was opened in 1857 and listed for closure in the 1963 'Beeching' report but did in fact survive. Today it supports significant commuter traffic into Manchester. |
