Kobokwe Cave, also known as Livingstone’s Cave, is a small sandstone cave located near the village of Molepolole in the Kweneng District of Botswana. The cave is associated with the 1847 visit of Scottish missionary and explorer David Livingstone, who is reported to have spent a night there as part of his mission to convert the people of the Bakwena tradition to Christianity.
